Kathleen Semansky received her Masters of Education in community counselling from DePaul University in Chicago and holds a Bachelors Degree from Loyola University Chicago in sociology. Kathleen specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, identity and development issues, adolescents and young adults, mindfulness/yoga therapy and insomnia. Prior to graduate school, Kathleen worked extensively with foster children and homeless youth in community mental health settings.

Kathleen has received training in empirically supported treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and CBT for insomnia. She is also a registered yoga teacher and passionate about the integration of mind and body in relation to emotional healing.
