I am here to aid my clients in their quest to live a happy, fulfilling life. My role as a counselor is to be a coach, a consultant, a mentor, but most importantly to be an empathetic, active listener. I explore various counseling theories with my clients, including person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy. I believe in a strengths-based approach. By focusing on one’s strengths, this can lead to greater self-confidence, the inner courage to overcome roadblocks, and wellbeing. I am here to guide, empower, and motivate my clients on their journey to becoming their best version of themselves. “Storms make oaks take roots.” I believe that out of great loss, uncertainty, anxiety and sadness, something beautiful can emerge. Humans are extremely resilient and strong, and we are capable of overcoming adversity if given the right support, care, and empathy.
