Chris J. West, M.A., D.O., ABAARM

Dr. West grew up in Florida where he attended college at the University of Florida. He then pursued a Master’s in Bioethics at Trinity Seminary in Chicago, before attending medical school in Kansas City. After finishing residency in Iowa, he and his family moved to the Denver area to start a career. Dr. West has many professional interests including nutrition, missionary work, and pursuing the most current technology for his practice. His hobbies include movies, sports, outdoor activities, spending time with his family, and local involvement with his church.

Dr. West is board-certified in family medicine and has been practicing in the Denver area since 2002. In November of 2016, he finished a two-year Fellowship Program in Functional Medicine. This has expanded his practice to include outside-the-box patient care. In January of 2017, Dr. West started Counseling with Care, an integrated counseling center that is affiliated with Parker Family Care. The combination of counseling, functional medicine, and traditional family practice allows a perfect blend of treatment for the whole person.

Amber Roemersberger, P.A.-C

Amber Roemersberger is a native to Colorado who grew up in Colorado Springs and attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, receiving her Bachelors degree in Biology.  She then received her CHA/PA degree as well as a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant program at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center in 2008. This program provides comprehensive medical care for people of all ages, emphasizing the care of infants, children, and adolescents.  Amber has been with Parker Family Care since 2008. Her hobbies include outdoor activities, watching movies, scrapbooking, reading leisure novels and spending quality time with friends and family.

Alexandra (Ally) Girrens, F.N.P.-C

Alexandra (Ally) Girrens, is a native to Colorado. She attended Colorado State University for a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Sciences.  After graduating from CSU, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Denver College of Nursing, where she went on to work as a RN in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at University of Colorado Hospital. After 8 years of working in the ICU, she returned to Regis University where she obtained a Master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022. She likes to spend her free-time with her husband, their son Charlie & their playful goldendoodle George. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors, and going to sporting events.

Brianna (Bri) Virzi, F.N.P.-BC

Bri is a Colorado native who grew up in Lakewood. She attended Colorado State University where she got her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduating from CSU, she moved to Arizona where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona College of Nursing. She then worked as a trauma nurse in Phoenix for 3 years before moving back to Colorado. She then received her Master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her son Wilson, and their 2 Labrador retrievers. She enjoys anything outdoors, going to sporting events, playing volleyball, and spending time with family and friends.

 

Heather Miyazawa, P.A.-C

Heather Miyazawa is a Colorado native who grew up in Parker. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder where she got her Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Physiology and a certificate in Public Health. She did research at the University of Colorado Anschutz studying pediatric Eosinophilic Esophagitis and has three publications. She also has a background in Cardiology, where she got most of her clinical hours for PA school. She received her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at South College in Nashville, TN. During school she gained a wide variety of clinical experience seeing patients in Florida, Tennessee, and Colorado. Her hobbies include running, soccer, yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
